The day begins with a rush of adrenaline, with sandboarding on the youngest volcano in Nicaragua. This activity is considered an extreme sport and is unique in the world.

Sliding on a board over an active volcano is an experience you must experience if you are in Nicaragua.

We arrive at your hotel and after a one hour 4x4 ride we will be at the foot of the Cerro Negro volcano (active volcano) and we will be able to appreciate wonderful panoramic views and color contrasts during the climb to the top. This hike is easy and lasts approximately 1 hour at a leisurely pace and the descent on a board lasts no more than 1 minute. This tour lasts 4 hours overall and we will return to the city of León so you can have lunch and shower.

Our adventure continues towards the Pacific to board the boat and visit Juan Venado Island (Natural Reserve) where in the company of our guide and captain we will be able to appreciate the flora and fauna.

This boat tour lasts 2 hours and we will be back at the beach before sunset to walk and watch the sunset, with the possibility of staying for dinner if you wish or returning to Leon after sunset. This tour is a full day.
