This tour requires a vehicle ride of approximately 2 hours from the city of León. Our guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel. We recommend early morning departures and being in good physical condition.

During the trip we will pass through the city of Chinandega, north of León. After approximately 2 hours of transportation we will be at the base of the volcano (Cosigüina Volcano Natural Reserve). From here we will walk for about 45 minutes to the summit.

Stunning views of its crater lagoon and exceptional panoramic views will be your reward.

The return journey takes approximately the same time.
