León is a colonial city in Nicaragua founded in 1524 and to date has reached its 500 years of existence. Known as the city of poets, university city and first capital of the revolution, León houses history, culture and architecture still very well preserved; its churches, colonial houses blend in exuberant colors which make an amalgam with modern life and daily city movement.

Our tour starts from your hotel in the company of a local and certified tour guide who will make you discover this city.

The total duration of the tour is between 2 hours 30 to 3 hours, you will visit; the majestic cathedral, museums, markets, historical murals. This tour ends just before noon and you can have your pass to have lunch and have a refreshing drink or a coffee.

Our guided tour continues from 2:30 p.m. and we will head to the beach of Las Peñitas where the captain awaits you with his boat which with the support of our tour guide will take you to visit Juan Venado Island. A natural reserve rich in flora and fauna a few kilometers from the city of León and on the edge of the sea.

This boat tour lasts approximately 2 hours and at the end you will have free time to wait and watch the sunset on the beach of Las Peñitas!
